As the buzz around Spider-Man 4 continues to build, one of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is: Who will be in the cast? After the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Spider-Man saga is shaping up to be a major event.

With rumors flying and no official confirmations yet, speculation about the cast has taken center stage in fan discussions.

Here’s a closer look at who’s likely to return, who might join, and the potential surprises waiting for us in Spider-Man 4.

Tom Holland: The Web-Slinger Returns?

It’s hard to imagine a Spider-Man movie without Tom Holland at the forefront. Since his debut in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Holland has made the role of Peter Parker his own, blending the awkwardness of a high school student with the heroic responsibility of Spider-Man.

Holland has expressed mixed feelings about returning for more Spider-Man films, hinting that he might be ready to step away from the role after No Way Home. However, he’s also left the door open, saying he would return if the story felt right.

Zendaya as MJ: Will She Come Back?

Another key question for fans is whether Zendaya will return as MJ, Peter’s love interest. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film’s dramatic ending saw MJ forget who Peter Parker is due to the multiverse magic cast by Doctor Strange.

This left their relationship in an uncertain place, with Peter choosing not to reintroduce himself to MJ, opting to protect her from his dangerous life.

3. Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds: A Best Friend No More?

Jacob Batalon’s portrayal of Ned Leeds, Peter’s best friend and loyal sidekick, has provided much of the comic relief in the MCU’s Spider-Man films.

However, the conclusion of No Way Home left Ned with no memory of Peter, effectively ending their friendship. This raises the question: Will Ned appear in Spider-Man 4?

There’s a fan theory that Ned could eventually return as a villain, specifically the Hobgoblin.

In the comics, Ned Leeds was brainwashed into becoming the Hobgoblin, and fans have speculated that this storyline could play out in future movies.

While there’s no confirmation of this happening, it would provide a darker, more complex arc for Ned’s character, potentially putting him in conflict with Peter.

While much of the Spider-Man 4 cast remains unconfirmed, there’s plenty of speculation and excitement surrounding who might return and what new characters could join the story.

Whether it’s Tom Holland continuing his journey as Peter Parker, the potential return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, or the introduction of new villains and allies, Spider-Man 4 is poised to be another major chapter in the MCU’s ever-expanding Spider-Verse.
